FILE – Electronic Language International Festival – São Paulo

The thirteenth edition of the FILE – Electronic Language International Festival is held this year from July 17 to August 19 in the Art Gallery of SESI-SP, located in the Centro Cultural FIESP – Ruth Cardoso, on Paulista Avenue, 1313, in São Paulo, Brazil.

The FILE SP 2012 encompasses a series of festivais such as the FILE Installation, Tablet, Games, Hypersonica, Machinima, and Media Art. The current edition of the FILE Anima+, which is an animation festival, is presented in the Art Gallery and in the Theater of SESI-SP, in the Espaço FIESP, in MIS – Image and Sound Museum, and in subway stations along Paulista Avenue, featuring its own curatorship and works obtained through partnerships with the world’s leading animation festivals.

From July 17 through 20 the presentations of the Hypersonica Performance, as well as the exhibition of animations, will be held in the Theater of SESI-SP. In the first week of the exhibition, the FILE SP 2012 also includes the programmes of the FILE Workshop and Symposium, located in the Rehearsal Room and on the Mezzanine Floor of SESI-SP, in the same address.

The participation in all activities is free.
