3 +1 Contemporary Art Gallery opened in February 2007 with the aim of promoting the work of emerging and established Portuguese and International artists, whose works illustrate the diversity of contemporary artistic practice. The gallery has gained notoriety for its exhibited artists and its commitment to exhibiting unconventional exhibitions in a commercial context, the various initiatives in promoting its artists both in the gallery and offsite projects. 3 +1 is committed to its evolution and development as a gallery, encouraging and supporting projects by its artists both in and outside of Portugal and by focusing on the internationalization in our programation and by participating in art fairs.
