The residency program “Iwata Parana” welcomes plastic artists, architects, photographers, audiovisual artists, among others; National and international artists during a one-month period to develop projects related to the Peruvian Amazon, in the community of Santo Tomás de Iquitos and its ancestral culture Kokama.
The program aims to create a cultural environment for exchange, production and research of artistic, architectural projects, etc. Likewise, the residency program works in close collaboration with the Yrapakatun association and the Santo Tomás community, offering artistic workshops on a voluntary basis for children and young people, as well as taking care of the infrastructure and space needs
