Pensamento Tropical

Founded in 2009 in Itacaré – BA – Brazil

The objectives of Pensamento Tropical are to :

Encourage contemporary artistic creation.
Develop intercultural exchanges between Brazilian and international artists, through laboratories that explore new formats of creation / production / distribution.
Organize national and international artist residences that offer the opportunity to disconnect from over-communication and reconnect with an organic and immediate temporality.
Preserve the environment and to promote sustainable development: Pensamento Tropical owns a property of 24 hectares, (comma) including 15 hectares of natural forest, three rivers, a waterfall, and an exceptionally rich fauna and flora.
Facilitate links with the neighboring community through the exchange of information and know-how in the fields of arts and environmental education.
