Centro de Artes Visuales EAFIT

Founded in 1999 in Medellín, Colombia

The EAFIT Visual Arts Center has two exhibition spaces: two intercommunicated rooms and a hall where it is possible to display large format works.

The purpose of the EAFIT University and its Center of Arts is to bring together the best national and international artists, contemporary and classic, and to communicate about their art projects.

Its mission is to offer a space in which the artistic education of the community is stimulated, through the cultural integration that can be established between the University and the city.

The Arts Center was inaugurated on May 27, 1999 with the exhibition The Logic of the Tropics by the Colombian painter Juan Antonio Roda.
