Paul Rosero

Born  in 1982 in Quito, Ecuador
Lives and works between Los Angeles and Quito

Paul Rosero Contreras (b. Ecuador, 1982) is working in the gap of biological phenomena and audiovisual platforms. He has received his Master’s in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a Pos-grade Diploma in Technologies of Communication from FLACSO, Argentina. Rosero also studied a MFA in Art and Technology at the California Institute of the Arts where also worked as Teaching Assistant in the Integrated Media department. His cross-disciplinary interests include photography, experimental sound, coding with free software, bio-philosophy and performance as dj. His work has been displayed in Latin America, Europe and United States.
