Lives and works in Bogota, Colombia
“My work comes from a fundamental question about the relationship between human beings and vegetals, this question being part of a major issue: the relationship to the oikos (the house).
These are power relations , they are based on the belief that a separation exists between human beings and nature. In my works, I try to show the very opposite, to say that such a division does not exist, since all our lives are so intimately linked.
My body appears as a measuring element to compare the strength, scale, life of the human and vegetal. In my works, those lives embrace, add, and reunite with the usual relationship, in a act merging love and critical gaze »
