Claudia de la Torre
Born in 1986 in Mexico
Lives and works in Karlsruhe, Germany
To describe in a few lines what my work is about when it is always changing and constructing is not an easy task.
Each piece has its own tail and head, its own complications and solutions. I’m interested in construction and deconstruction of processes and knowledge.
Differences, repetition, selection and exclusion, systems of order and categorization.
Naming and giving place to things and images so we don’t get lost in chaos. Installation as a medium allows me to build bridges between objets and ideas in a web of multiple relations.
