ESTE ARTE, the International Fair for Contemporary Art, brings an artistic offering that ranges from historical avant-gardes to emerging and contemporary art. In parallel to the exhibition of paintings, sculptures, photographs and videos, the fair presents a cultural agenda, a space for dialogue among artists, collectors, critics and curators, involving personalities of international renown.

To be held annually, it is a cultural, economic and social event that supports the art market development in the Southern Cone and empowers both private and institutional collections. »

The exhibitors program hosts a carefully selected group of the most prestigious contemporary art galleries. The art fair brings an artistic offering that ranges from historical avant-gardes to contemporary art, generating a far-reaching art exhibition for regional and international visitors alike. There is no unique format; each gallery manages its own space. Each gallery presents a show specially tailored for the occasion. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, installations and video. The selected exhibitors are chosen, based on their submitted proposal and their general program. This selection process aims at guarantee the highest quality of the participating galleries and the overall curatorial concept.

ESTE ARTE is intended for international galleries and offices focused on contemporary art, but it is also available to specialized publishers and cultural institutions. The selection process aims at ensuring the highest quality of the participating galleries and the overall curatorial concept. The selection committee meets to assess the applications and has the responsibility to decide on the participating galleries. Selection committee members are invited to participate, on honorary basis, as recognition to their careers, experience and moral values.

The selected exhibitors are chosen, based on the following criteria: Quality and significance of artworks featured at the submitted proposal; General program and gallery’s influence within the contemporary arts scene; Gallery’s artists in relevant collections accessed to through the gallery; Gallery’s artists and artworks displayed at museums, institutions and biennials; International art fairs gallery participation; Gallery’s media recognition.
