COLOMBORAMA
Oslo, six differents venues.
February – June 2013
COLOMBORAMA is a multi platform exhibition project curated by Marius Wang in collaboration with Olga Robayo and produced by TrAP. The aim is to show a selection of today’s expansive art and culture scene found in Bogotá; inserted into the Oslo
art scene. The project will take place at six different venues and will be on from the end of February until the end of June 2013.
The exhibition venues are Stenersenmuseet (28.2 – 5.5) with the group show BOGOTAPOLIS presenting the following artists: Jaime Avila, Carlos Bonil, Elkin Calderón, Carlos Castro, Wilson Diaz, Miguel Kuan, Edinson Quiñones, José Alejandro Restrepo, Maria Isabel Rueda, Edwin Sánchez and Andrés Felipe Uribe. At Tegnerforbundet (7.3 – 7.4) there will be a solo show by Humberto Junca Casas, and at Dortmund Bodega (19.4 – 26.4) there will be a “Post-mortem” exhibition about the artist driven space El Bodegon (2005-09). Later at Fotogalleriet (24.5 – 30.6) a solo exhibition by Angélica Teuta will take place and at Podium (1.6 – 15.6) Mauro Renato Benavidez will develop his project Trashpical. In the end of May the Colombian Hip-Hop collective Crack Family will visit Oslo to do a workshop and a concert at Rommen scene. Additionally and parallel to all the exhibitions, El Parche Artist Residency will operate the Bogotá-based residency project at W17/Kunstnernes Hus housing a variety of exhibitions, talks, screenings, artist-talks, parties and other projects of cultural exchange.
